To make returning visits easier, we may also store the property addresses you have recently used to start a homeowners or flood quote in your browser’s local storage. The most recent address may be automatically filled into the quote field on these pages so you do not have to retype it. These addresses are kept on your device and are never transmitted to us except when you choose to submit a quote. You can clear the prefilled address using the ✕ inside the quote field, remove individual saved addresses using the ✕ next to each entry in the recent-addresses dropdown that appears when you focus the quote field, or remove all of them at once by clearing your browser’s site data.

Analytics Services

We use the following analytics tools to collect anonymized usage data that helps us understand how visitors interact with our site and improve our services:

  • Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager — We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to collect anonymized information about page views, session duration, traffic sources, and user interactions. Data is processed by Google in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. You may opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Umami Analytics (self-hosted on our own servers — no data is shared with any third party) — We run Umami on our own infrastructure (umami.gulfregionins.com) for privacy-respecting, cookie-free website analytics. Umami collects anonymized aggregate traffic data and does not use cookies or track individual users across sessions.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics — We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect anonymized performance and traffic data. Cloudflare does not use cookies for analytics and does not track individual users. Data is processed by Cloudflare, Inc.

We use Sentry (sentry.io) for application error monitoring. Sentry may capture session replay recordings to help us reproduce and diagnose errors. Approximately 50% of sessions in which an error occurs may be recorded; additionally, approximately 10% of all sessions are sampled for replay regardless of errors. Replay recordings are processed with all text content masked and all media blocked to minimize exposure of personal information. Replay data is transmitted to and stored by Sentry, Inc.
